Our founding in 1975 was the result of a commitment: two friends, Carlos Roberto de Medeiros and Reinaldo Viegas, joined forces to offer quality products in the healthcare sector, with a special emphasis on diagnostics.
A origem do nome é um símbolo dessa parceria: “Erviegas” nasce da junção do sobrenome de Reinaldo (Viegas), com uma proposta inicialmente afrancesada (Erviegás). Mas, com a visão de criar uma marca sólida e nacional, Carlos Roberto optou por manter a grafia como Erviegas, seguida do complemento: Instrumental Cirúrgico — deixando claro seu compromisso com a saúde no Brasil.

From distributing imported products for clinical analysis, we have boldly and visionarily evolved to become manufacturers of essential supplies for pathological anatomy.
Em 2015, consolidamos essa evolução com a mudança oficial de nome: de Erviegas para Grupo Erviegas — assumindo nossa identidade como marca mãe e fabricante, com marcas próprias representando nossos produtos.
Na época, a EasyPath foi segmentada em três divisões: Diagnósticos, Lazer e Náutica. Porém, com a chegada da pandemia, reorientamos nossa estratégia e decidimos focar exclusivamente naquilo que sempre foi nossa maior vocação: soluções para anatomia patológica.
Hoje, somos líderes, referência nacional e em expansão internacional. Mas jamais esquecemos nossa essência: fomos, antes de tudo, parceiros e aprendizes — e continuamos sendo uma empresa que cresce junto, que respeita a trajetória das pessoas e que transforma necessidades em soluções concretas para a saúde.

From 1,100 m², we expanded to 2,500 m², multiplying our production, laboratory, engineering, and logistics capacity—with the boldness that has always driven us.
Now, in 2025, we are taking another bold step: our international expansion, starting with Latin America, with exports already underway and a strong presence at strategic global events.
